This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies and influence best practices across the engineering organization.Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Define and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. Oversee Linux system administration and configuration management with Chef or Ansible. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, AWS Pipelines, or Jenkins. Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PHP, Ruby, Go, or Node.js. Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems. Manage containerization and orchestration with Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes. Apply cloud security best practices (subnets, security groups, firewall rules, WAF, DNS, SSH). Support PCI compliance preparation and audits. Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system reliability optimizationRequirements 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with hands-on expertise with AWS. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, Terraform). Experience with Linux system administration and configuration management tools. Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation. Solid programming/scripting skills in at least one of: Python, Bash, Go, Ruby, PHP, or Node.js. Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS). Familiarity with security best practices and compliance (PCI, SOC2, etc.).
